Prides are happening all over the free world, it is not just a movement its a phenomenon! Marches are getting bigger and bigger year after year, a tsunami of hundreds of thousands of celebrators gathering in the cities of the planet. Spain and the USA are clearly winning but more and more country are lighting up, even though there are a few setbacks, mainly in the USA and Africa.
All the stars now want to be doing Prides. From Mariah Carey to Offer Nissim. Or from Christina Aguilera to Graces Jones, superstars showed up. If you haven’t attended a pride yet, you’ve been missing out… If you were there, catch yourself in one of the video below?

1. Madrid, Spain
Madrid Pride took place on July 22-24, 2023, this is one of the bggest Pride of Europe, if not THE bigest. It was attended by over 1 million people. The theme of Madrid Pride 2023 was “Orgullo sin etiquetas” (Pride without labels).
Madrid Pride is one of the largest pride festivals in Europe, if not the largest.
Headliners were: Benny Benassi, DJ Anne Louise, Las Ketchup Ritxi & Gaby and more.
Prides see all major gay event makers worldwide to collaborate with one another and give each other days in their respective city. Main organizers for Madrid Pride 2023: WeParty (Madrid locals), Fovever (Tel Aviv), Macho, XLSior (Mykonos).
2. New York City
The theme of NYC Pride 2023 was “The Power of Unity.” The festival was organized by Heritage of Pride, a non-profit organization that has been producing NYC Pride since 1970.
Christina Aguilera headlined the two-day event which took place on June 24 and 25 at the Brooklyn Navy Yard and Manhattan. Other performers included Becky G, Adam Lambert, Dorian Electra, Daya, and Betty Who.
3. Los Angeles + West Hollywood, California
Mariah Carey headlined the two-day event which took place at Los Angeles State Historic Park. Other performers included Megan Thee Stallion, Fletcher, G Flip, King Princess, Vincint, Megan and RuPaul’s Drag Race contestants.
The theme of LA Pride 2023 was “United in Pride.” The festival was organized by Christopher Street West (CSW), a non-profit organization that has been producing LA Pride since 1970.
None other than the Le-Gen-Dary Grace Jones headlined the West Hollywood Pride 2023. Watch her perform This Is above. Other performers of WeHoPride 2023 were Carly Rae Jepsen, DJ Tracy Young and more.
The festival took place on June 2-4, 2023, and it was attended by over 100,000 people. The theme of WeHo Pride 2023 was “United in Pride.”
4. Maspalomas, Gran Canaria, Canary Islands
Maspalomas Pride took place on May 4-14, 2023, and it was attended by over 200 000 people. The theme of Maspalomas Pride 2023 was “Freedom & Unity”.
Headliners: the major circuit producer Nacho Chapado, the circuit deejay stars Manuel Colby, Rafha Madrid, El Mezo Oscar Max, the singers Paulina Rubio, Kate Ryan and more.
Many of the biggest gay events organizers take part in the event: Freedom Party, WeParty (Madrid), Progay (Gran Canaria & Rotterdam), Matrix (Torremolinos), Gibus (Paris) and more.
5. Tel Aviv
Tel Aviv Pride took place from June 8th to 11th, 2023, and it was attended by over 250,000 people. The theme of Tel Aviv Pride 2023 was “Love and Unity.”
Headliners were circuit superstars Offer Nissim (videos above) and star circuit DJ Anne Louise and Sagi Kariv.
Tel Aviv Pride is one of the largest pride festivals in the world.
6. London
Pride in London is a celebration of the capital’s LGBT+ community, and it showcases LGBT+ culture through a variety of events. These events include theatre, dance, art, cinema, parties, and other activities.
More than 300 floats travel through London, while groups sing and dance across the city. Soho hosts parties and events in the evening, with pubs, bars, and clubs throughout the city doing likewise.
Rita Ora and Adam Lambert were among the many performers who took to the main stage in Trafalgar Square on Saturday, July 2.

7. Mexico City, Mexico
The 46th Mexico City Pride was held on June 24, 2023, in Mexico City. The parade began at the Ángel de la Independencia and ended at the Zócalo, the main square in Mexico City.
The theme of the 2023 Mexico City Pride was “Orgullo sin etiquetas” (Pride without labels). The festival was organized by la Comisión del Carnaval de Orgullo LGBTTTIQ+ de la Ciudad de México (COC).
The parade was attended by over 250,000 people, and it was one of the largest pride parades in the world. The parade featured floats, dancers, and musicians, and it was a colorful and festive procession.

11. Brussels, Belgium
Belgium the country of chocolate, waffles, fries, beer and the legendary La Démence hosted Brussels Pride 2023. The festival took place on June 10-11, 2023, and it was attended by over 100,000 people. The festival features a variety of events, including a parade, concerts, parties, and exhibitions.
The main event of the festival is the parade, which takes place on the Saturday of the festival. The parade begins at the Place de la Monnaie and winds its way through the streets of Brussels. 12. San Diego, California
The festival took place on July 15-17, 2023, and it was attended by over 300,000 people. The theme of San Diego Pride 2023 was “Thrive.”
13. Bangkok, Thailand
The Pride Parade returned to Bangkok with a wonderful colorful event in the heart of the city on Sunday 4th June 2023. The long parade started off at Bangkok Art and Cultural Centre and headed along Rama
Headliner acts for Bangkok Pride 2023 were British singer-songwriter MNEK, Australian singer-songwriter Betty Who and more.
The festival took place on June 4-5, 2023, and it was attended by over 200,000 people. The theme of Bangkok Pride 2023 was “Beyond Gender.”
Bangkok Pride is one of the largest pride festivals in Southeast Asia. 2022’s pride event was the first in Thailand’s capital city in 16 years.
In 2023, Paris is not making the list as climate fanatics / extremists took over their pride organisation and ruined everything for the Frenchies. The paranoids banned all the floats and music resulting in Parisians mass complaining and calling it The Worse Pride Ever.
At time of writing, upcoming Pride events to look forward to this year are the Berlin Pride (July 22nd), Amsterdam Pride (August 5th), Mykonos Pride (August 16-23), Palm Springs Pride (November 3-5) and Winter Pride Maspalomas (November 6-12).
